Cobb County Bar Association Invites Social Media Trainer and Public Speaker Kelly Quattlebaum to Speak at CLE Seminar in Atlanta

ATLANTA, September 30, 2011 – The Cobb County Bar Association has invited social media trainer Kelly Quattlebaum, president of Global Marcoms, an Atlanta-based company that offers social media training as well as marketing and communication support, to speak at the Cobb Solo/Small Firm Practice Section CLE Seminar, Real Issues in Running the Small Law Office. Quattlebaum uses her knowledge of social media marketing to train executives and professionals in Atlanta to utilize social networking tools, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and foursquare, for business development, networking and brand awareness.

Quattlebaum’s presentation, Social Media in Practice, will discuss how social networking tools such as blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, can be utilized by lawyers and law offices to help raise awareness for their practice or firm.

“Social media tools can really help solo practitioners and small law firms gain the visibility they need to compete against larger firms with stronger name recognition and bigger budgets,” said Quattlebaum. “The SEO benefits alone can improve search engine rankings, but the networking aspect of tools like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, also add value to attorneys who want to grow their practice and expand their influence.”

Quattlebaum is one of six guest speakers who will present at the Solo/Small Firm CLE seminar.  Other topics include Malpractice Avoidance/Retainer Issues/Office Practice Management, Maximizing Collections in your Practice, Marketing for the Solo/Small Firm and Technology in the Small Law Office Setting.  Seminar attendees will receive 4 hours of CLE credit and 1 hour of ethics credit.
